Bosch targets AI breakthrough

Bosch says it is showing a wide variety of connected solutions for different business sectors at Bosch Innovation House at the Techsauce Global Summit 2019. Artificial intelligence and cloud computing are taking centre stage in the company’s push towards a connected world.

By 2021, Bosch plans to quadruple the number of its in-house AI experts from 1,000 to 4,000. By the middle of the next decade, 100 per cent of Bosch products will be equipped with AI, or AI will have played a part in their development and manufacturing.
The three focus areas of the company that will be on display at the Techsauce Global Summit 2019 are future of mobility, Industry 4.0, and smart agriculture.
Bosch is already actively involved in rolling out mobility solutions initiatives throughout the region. “Thailand has a great opportunity to make huge advances in both its capital, Bangkok, as well as its rapidly growing cities nationwide in terms of clean transportation options, electrification and greener mobility by utilizing connected solutions. Bosch is capable of supporting and adding value to Thailand’s mobility eco-system, especially in the areas of digitalization and connectivity,” said Joseph Hong, managing director of Bosch in Thailand.
