Tisco Financial Group Plc reported a consolidated net profit Bt3.527 billion for the first half of 2019, up 1.5 per cent year on year.

The results were propped by a decline in provision expense by 84.8 per cent year on year, according to its filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand on Thursday.

In the second quarter, the net profit attributed to owners of the company totalled Bt1.798 billion, up 5.2 per cent year on year, mainly driven by lower provision expense.

Group chief executive Suthas Ruangmanamongkol has said that it would continue to drive growth in all of its businesses in the second half of the year by offering products that meet customer demands.
