Commerce Ministry makes payments easier

Commerce Ministry makes payments easier

The Commerce Ministry hosted its e-Payment Showcase at the Office of the Permanent Secretary in Nonthaburi on Monday.

The event aimed to showcase the ministry’s e-payment services that take advantage of modern information technology to offer fast, reliable and convenient ways to make payments.
Ministry inspector-general Supapat Ongsangkoon, who presided over the opening ceremony, said the ministry is offering four channels of payment to make things easier for citizens and the private sector.
“Our clients can make payments via credit cards [Visa/Master], Internet banking, e-wallet/e-money [Rabit Line Pay/AirPay], or physical counters at banks and retailers [counter service],” he said.

Supapat explained that the ministry’s e-payment system was designed for users who prefer the convenience of online payments.
“E-payment is available for many of our services, such as entrepreneur registration for importers/exporters, trade licence applications, and applications to participate in international trade shows.”
Service fees can be paid via website https://moce-payment.moc.go.th/MOCPortal or through the Commerce Ministry’s mobile applications. It also offers automated assistance via the Line app @MOCBot.
