Thai Vietjet adds to Thailand-VN flights with new service from U-tapao to Ho Chi Minh City

Thai Vietjet today (December 23) inaugurated its maiden flight (VZ970) from U-tapao to Ho Chi Minh City with Rear Admiral Luechai Sri-Eamgool, Director of the U-Tapao Airport Authority, on board as guest of honour.

The flight landed safely to greetings from Thai Vietjet executives in the city. In marking the inaugural flight, Thai Vietjet entertained passengers with a magic performance in the sky, and handed out corporate souvenirs.
The flight departed from U-tapao at 11:25 am, arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 12:55 pm. It flew back to U-tapao airport at 1:25 pm, arriving at 2:40pm.
The service is available 4 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Promotional tickets at special price are on offer from 24 December 2019 to 31 March 2020.
Under the slogan "Fly Vietnam, Fly Vietjet", the carrier provides the highest numbers of routes and frequencies connecting Thailand and Vietnam. It currently fly on eight routes including Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Da Lat, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Haiphong and direct services from Phuket, Chiang Mai to Ho Chi Minh city, plus the new service from U-tapao to Ho Chi Minh City.
The latest flight is expected to further stimulate direct traffic between Rayong and Pattaya with Ho Chi Minh City, especially travellers from the southern region of Vietnam.
