Gold up Bt400/baht at close on Friday
Gold price rose Bt400 per baht weight at the close of trade on Friday (March 20), the Gold Traders Association reported.
As of 3.44pm, buying price of a gold bar stood at Bt23,100 per baht weight and selling price Bt23,200, while gold ornament was Bt22,679.36 per baht weight to buy with selling price at Bt23,700.
Prices increased from morning trade where a gold bar cost Bt22,700 to buy and Bt22,800 to sell, gold ornaments cost Bt22,285.20 to buy and Bt23,300 to sell.
As of 5.10pm, Gold contracts in COMEX futures to be delivered in April rose by US$30.70 or 2.08 per cent to $1,510 per ounce.
