Gold retreats Bt300/baht at close on Wednesday
Gold price dropped by Bt300 per baht weight at the close of trade on Wednesday (March 25), the Gold Traders Association reported.
As of 3.03pm, buying price of a gold bar stood at Bt24,200 per baht weight and selling price Bt24,500, while gold ornament was Bt23,770.88 per baht weight to buy with selling price at Bt25,000.
Prices increased from morning trade when a gold bar cost Bt24,500 to buy and Bt24,800 to sell, while gold ornaments cost Bt24,058.92 to buy and Bt25,300 to sell.
As of 4.54pm, Gold contracts in COMEX to be delivered in April dropped by US$5.20 or 0.31 per cent to $1,655.60 per ounce.
