Speed up budget disbursement, PM urges agencies
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has urged all state agencies to accelerate the disbursement of the whole 2020 fiscal budget in this fiscal year, Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak said recently. Somkid said the premier wants to see the whole budget disbursed to revive the economy.
He added that disbursements fell short of the target due to problems stemming from the Covid-19 crisis.
The 2020 fiscal year ends on September 30.
