Korat hotels to reopen on June 1
Nakhon Ratchasima is set to allow hotels to reopen on June 1, said governor Wichien Chantaranothai today (May 19).
Before opening, the hotels must offer proof to local authorities of anti-virus measures they have implemented to prevent Covid-19 transmission.
The governor said the northeastern province is ready to promote tourism activities to revive the local economy. It will also hold seminars and meetings in hotels that are preparing to reopen.
The province has recorded 19 confirmed Covid-19 cases, of which 18 have recovered.
