Exports up 2 per cent in April but imports plummet
Thailand's exports in April expanded 2.12 per cent year on year to US$18.948 billion, while imports shrank 17.13 per cent to $16.486 billion, according to the Commerce Ministry's Trade Policiy and Strategic Office.
Exports in the first four months of this year expanded 1.19 per cent to $81.620 billion, while imports contracted 5.72 per cent to $75.224 billion.
