AOT ‘ready to approve’ THAI’s rehab plan

Airports of Thailand (AOT), which is one of Thai Airways International (THAI)’s creditors, is ready to give the green light to the carrier's rehabilitation plan, said AOT president Nitinai Sirismatthakarn.

The central bankruptcy court will begin hearing THAI’s restructuring case on August 17.
The state agency has set up three panels to study the possible impact of the carrier's decision to enter debt restructuring under the court's supervision.
The AOT panels will focus on THAI’s business plan and routes, debt, and impacts on AOT-related businesses. THAI operates four businesses in AOT airports – kitchens, ground service, aviation repair and cargo.
