Celebrating the organic way

Celebrating the organic way

Bliss Foundation is organising its 4th annual Bliss Festival from December 15-17 at Sampran Riverside, Nakhon Pathom and will as ever be bringing together people from all sectors involved in the Thai organic agriculture movement.

More than 200 booths manned by organic farmers, universities, schools, government and private sectors exhibit their goods as well as provide information, research and workshops.
Bliss Foundation has been driving an organic agriculture movement in Nakhon Pathom and neighbouring provinces for the last 7 years. It’s known locally known as the Sampran Model, a dynamic and sustainable business model linking organic farmers and consumers under fair trade and Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.
Highlights this year include talks by Jo Jundai of Panpan Organic Farm, Chiang Mai, Nakorn Limpacuptathavon of Heart Core Organic group; Pra Maha Suparb of Nakum Forest Monastry, Kalasin province and Vitoon Panyakul of Green Net. Chef Tam Chudaree Debhakam, winner of Top Chef Thailand, will be creating special dishes using organic ingredients from the festival and giving cooking tips.
There will be an array of entertaining activities on the main stage as well as a knowledge sharing platform by exhibitors. The event is being held on December 15-17 from 9 am to 5 pm at Sampran Riverside. Free admission. For more information, please call (034) 322 588-93.
