Sarah Corynen is bringing her “Alphabet of Joy” to the Siam Commercial Bank’s Talad Noi Pier in Bangkok this weekend.

Sansiri and the Thailand Creative and Design Centre are hosting the meetandgreet with Corynen as part of Bangkok Design Week 2019.

The Belgian illustrator and designer of surface patterns will be blending design and fashion in her first exhibition in Southeast Asia.

A platform floating on the Chao Phraya River will carry her vibrant and colourful artworks exhibition created for four hip lifestyle brands within the Sansiri Club Collection – Line, XT, Haus and the Base.

Five budding designers will also show their collaborative work and host a studio workshop from 5 to 9pm on weekdays and 3pm to until 10pm on weekends from January 26 to February 3.

Corynen’s concepts have graced Comme des Garcons clothing and European firm Habitat’s furniture. Her work has been seen in exhibitions and museums in Antwerp, Paris, Hong Kong and Japan.
