Celebrated two-Michelin-starred chef Jean-Michel Lorain returns to Bangkok to present the “25th Anniversary Lobster Set Menu” from June 8 to June 10 at J’Aime by Jean-Michel Lorain at the U Sathorn Hotel.

The menu is designed to express the uniqueness of lobster as its main ingredient, and demonstrates exacting standards in freshness, origin management and size.

The 25th Anniversary menu will consist of Quail egg & lobster salpicon in a puff pastry shell, Warm lobster claw served in a cold white gazpacho with spring vegetables and watercress salad, Lobster salad, exotic fruit Macedoine and sweet & sour mango dressing. Diners can also enjoy lobster served with morels, gnocchi, peas and green cardamom emulsion, Provencale-style lobster and pig’s trotter, followed by Sable pastry served with citrus, lemon cream and mandarin sorbet.

“The first Lobster Menu was inaugurated at the Cote Saint Jacques in 1992. At the time, it was served to only a few privileged customers. Its reputation has never stopped growing and 25 years later it has enthusiasts from around the world who come each year to discover the new recipes. And we hope that this menu will be successful in Thailand as well,” Lorain says.

A 4-course menu is available for lunch at Bt2,299 net per person including coffee and tea. The complete 6-course menu is available for lunch and dinner at Bt3,999 net per person including coffee and tea, with wine pairings also on offer.
