Bubbly and tea

Champagne and cocktails are the stars of the month at the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok’s Brasserie Europa, which is offering a sumptuous “Sunday Longest Champagne Brunch” featuring free-flow Louis Roederer Brut Premier Champagne NV and an extensive choice of cocktails to complement an impressive selection of Asian and Western dishes.

The selection of cocktails, made to order by Niche restaurant’s talented mixologist, Andreas Baasch, includes Signature Niche Mojito, Al Fresco Gin Tonic, Niche Cuba Libre, Rosy Royal, Asian Beauty, and French Connection. The cocktail bar offers two different signature drinks every Sunday along with a premium gin and tonic, and the famous Kempinski Bloody Mary.
Brasserie Europa’s Champagne Brunch is priced at Bt3,500 and is served from 12.30 to 5pm.
Meanwhile over at Hanuman Bar, executive pastry chef Frank Braun woos tea lovers with an elegant interpretation of English afternoon tea that reflects the Kempinski’s true European heritage and tradition. This outstanding classic English afternoon tea is available through the end of September and includes cucumber sandwiches, glazed lavender pound cake, caramelised Earl Grey eclairs, English summer pudding, hazelnut and caramel macaroons and dark cherry Bakewell tart. The afternoon tea experience may also be enhanced with Chandon Brut sparkling wine or Louis Roederer Champagne. It’s served daily from 2 to 5pm and costs Bt650-plus for one including a choice of tea or coffee, Bt1,300-plus for two. Add the bubbly and the price goes up to Bt980 and Bt1,450 respectively.
