Popular Italian restaurant Brio at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort takes patrons to the much-lauded Banfi vineyards with a special wine dinner on September 26.
The award-winning wine producer was founded by Italian-American brothers, John and Henry Mariani in 1978 and comprises two renowned vineyards in Italy – Castello Banfi in Montalcino, Tuscany and Banfi Piemonte in Strevi, Piedmont.
They have developed cutting-edge wine-making techniques as a result of ground-breaking research, for which Castello Banfi achieved international recognition by becoming the first winery in the world to be awarded for exceptional environmental, ethical and social responsibility (ISO 14001 and SA8000).
The wine dinner in the Tuscan villa-style dining room will see guests enjoying a six-course menu starting with an antipasti buffet of imported cold cuts and bruschetta paired with a Banfi Tener Brut Spumante NV. A Risotto al Chianti follows washed down with Banfi Rosso Di Montalcino 2015.
The Banfi wine dinner is available from 6.30 to 9.30 and priced at Bt1,900-plus per person.
