Cooking with the chefs
Oxygen Dining Room at the brand-new X2 Chiang Mai Riverside Resort adds colour to the old Lanna capital’s festive gourmet scene by offering a series of special cooking classes from December 26 to 28, hosted by consultant French celebrity chef Nicolas Isnard and executive chef Alexandre Demard.
Isnard is known internationally for his culinary innovations and his restaurant L’Auberge de la Charme in Dijon, France was awarded a Michelin star in 2009. Demard has developed a passion for using fresh, local ingredients, and was formerly the chef and owner of Le Manoir in the famous Le Suquet in Cannes.
The two chefs will share their impressive culinary expertise with guests as they guide them through the preparation two unique and inspiring dishes that draw on the abundant flavours of Chiang Mai.
The cooking classes will be held daily from noon to 2pm on the terrace of Oxygen Dining Room and the chefs will join their students for lunch to taste the fruits of their efforts.
The “Cook with the Chefs” culinary experience costs Bt1,500-plus per person and numbers are limited.
