Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva Thursday criticised the government for being obsessed in helping former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Abhisit said the government has so far failed to delivered its pre-poll promises because it has been obsessed with efforts to help Thaksin.
"The government is obsessed with Thaksin's issues. The government thinks only about amending the laws," Abhisit said.
He said the proof that the government was bent on trying to help Thaksin was the plan by Foreign Minister Surapong Towichukchaikul to return passports to Thaksin.
