International Innovative Craft Fair to be held March 23-27
To serve Thailand’s 4.0 economy policy and drive the growth of the grassroots economy, the Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand will hold the International Innovative Craft Fair from March 23-27 at Bitec Bang Na.
This year’s concept is “Today Life’s Crafts: Handiwork is not far away from us, but it may be applied to our daily life”.
Ampawan Pichalai, director of the centre, said this activity would be in line with the government’s economic development policy with the focus on the “creative economy”.
It also supports the move to Thailand 4.0, when the merger of creativity and innovation would help propel national development.
This event expressly presents a main role of the centre to encourage the production of handicrafts that are easily approached, modern and responsive to people’s daily needs.
