Army steps in to help flood victims in Loei
The 28th Military Circle's disaster relief centre set up a communal kitchen on Tuesday (August 4) to cook meals for people suffering from severe flooding in Loei province.
The Army also had a team of volunteers survey damages at Ban Soob community in Loei’s Muang district and found that some 20 families had suffered losses.
The area has been flooded due to heavy rains since Sunday, and military volunteers are helping move people’s belongings to higher ground as well as cleaning the roads.
