To assert control over their prices too, the Lottery Office could issue identity cards for mandatory display to customers, and consumers would thus be able to report any overcharging so that appropriate action could be taken against the offenders. Without immediate action to rein in these street vendors, price controls will lapse, and we’ll soon be back to square one.
