FCCT should dig into mystery of New Atlas funding

Robin Grant’s information regarding the Foreign Correspondent Club of Thailand’s funding is incomplete. More funds have been sent to the FCCT from the Open Society, allegedly for the publication of a Khmer-language magazine. I write because I see no reason for FCCT involvement in Cambodian matters, since that country has its own club for foreign journalists. 

But, in the interest of transparency, I am just as curious as Mr Grant to know who is funding New Atlas. So why doesn’t the FCCT do a little research. Its members are, after all, supposed to be reporters.
