Built on a two-rai plot on Wireless Road next to the residence of the US ambassador, 98 Wireless by Sansiri is set to become the most expensive and luxurious residential project in Southeast Asia.

The recently launched Bt8.5 billion project is a 25-storey building consisting of 77 apartments ranging from two-to-three bedroom units to penthouses and the one-and-only super duplex aptly named The One on the building’s top two levels. The average selling price is Bt550,000 per square metre – that’s a starting price of Bt70 million – while the cost of The One, which is spread over 1,000 square metres is about Bt600 million.
The communal interiors are designed by New York-based interior designer Anne Carson and styled with Ralph Lauren Home furnishings. The lobby is decorated with Ralph Lauren Home’s largest handmade chandelier and the grand staircase is sculptured by British designer Anne Curry. The tea room is inspired by a European salon while the business lounge is simple, yet elegantly impressive with brown mahogany panels and brass engravings.
The building draws inspiration from classical European Beaux-Arts style embracing traditional craftsmanship and artisanal integrity. Marble has been extensively used in both the architecture and interior design. The design team was led by the internationally recognised home-grown architecture firm DWP. Bangkok-based landscape architecture studio TROP Terrain + Open Space designed the formal gardens and outdoor living spaces and Inverse Lighting designed the lighting to provide perfect clarity both day and night.
“The design has been meticulously crafted from the start, beginning with the process of selecting materials from the best possible producers in the world to be used for the exterior and interior design, such as the world-famous Statuario marble carefully chosen from a quarry in Italy. The three-storey chandelier was crafted by Ralph Lauren Home team over a year. The finishing touches on the walls and ceilings are the work of Hyde Park Mouldings, a world-renowned name for custom plaster mouldings and ornaments that have been utilised in many global landmarks, such as Buckingham Palace, the White House and the Metropolitan Museum New York,” said Sansiri’s CEO Apichart Chutrakul.
