Stretching for charity

Stretching for charity

Lullaby Yoga joins with Socialgiver for tomorrow’s (April 23) charity yoga workshop on the theme “Relax and De-stress”.

It’s being held from 9am to noon at Ruen Pae in the Thai village surrounding the Sampran Riverside Hotel in Nakhon Pathom.

The workshop offers a chance to fully relax and detox from a chaotic week at work with seasoned yoga teacher, Mark Scodellaro, head instructor at Bangkok’s Lullaby Studio while also helping others. The full proceeds from all yoga workshop tickets sold will be donated to Food4Good to bring about better nutrition for disadvantaged children in Thailand.

In addition to the yoga workshop, participants are also invited to attend the Thai Village art & craft workshop at the Thai village at Sampran where they can learn such skills as umbrella painting, traditional pottery, garland making, Thai dancing and Thai boxing and explore the Sookjai Farmer’s market, which offers a range of local organic produce.

The class is in English with Thai translation. Tickets cost Bt800 a head and Bt1,300 for two. Clients will enjoy free organic fresh fruit, a welcome herbal drink from Patom organic living products, and a pass for a yoga class either at Q House Studio or Thonglor Studio. Yoga mats are available but you should bring your own towels and toiletries.
