Act, or stop whining
Re: “ ‘Growth-ists’ are killing the planet”, Have Your Say, October 23.
Nigel Pike is such a hypocrite that he makes me sick to my stomach. He goes on and on about the population explosion while conveniently failing to note that his hero Donald Trump cut off funding to family planning programmes across the world.
Then Pike takes a cheap shot at me for noting that scientists have said people in the West countries must cut back on their consumption of meat by 90 per cent if we want to save the world from global warming. He says instead we must cut back the population by 90 per cent, which of course can’t possibly happen.
Either for once in your life be a man and do what needs to be done, or stop whining about the problems that people like you are causing in the first place.
