Despite facing death threats, Sri Lankan researcher Dr Sarath Gunatilake testified at the International Monsanto Tribunal that glyphosate and its adjuvants has caused mass ecocide.
He came to this conclusion while working to determine the cause of a kidney disease epidemic that has claimed tens of thousands in Sri Lanka and around the world.
So why has Thailand done nothing to eliminate the use of this agrochemical?
