Nene Royal says family is behind her success after royal honour

Phuket youth Nene Rattikan Amlai, known as “Nene Royal”, has opened up about the family support behind her success after receiving a royal certificate recognising her exceptional gratitude and devotion to her mother.

At the opening ceremony for National Mother’s Day 2026 on August 12 at Exhibition Hall 6, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani in Pak Kret district, Nonthaburi, Nene received the certificate in the student category from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, The Princess Royal.

The occasion marked another major and proud moment in her life.

Nene said she was delighted and excited to receive the royal honour, particularly on National Mother’s Day, as it gave her an opportunity to express her love and gratitude to her mother, who has always cared for and supported her.

She said her mother had always offered advice and provided a safe emotional space for her. Her mother often told her that she could come and talk whenever she faced a problem or felt troubled.

This has strengthened Nene’s close relationship with her family and reinforced her belief that family is the most important thing in her life.

“My mother is the person I love very much, and I am hardly ever apart from her. Even when I travel overseas with my father, I always call and talk to her,” Nene said.

“She is full of passion, and wherever I go, she is always by my side and supports me.”

Nene Rattikan, or Nene Royal, is among the young people from Phuket who have attracted attention for their talent and confidence on the international stage.

One of her most significant opportunities was performing on America’s Got Talent Season 21, bringing the abilities of Thai youth before audiences around the world.

Nene’s success therefore reflects not only her own talent and determination, but also the important role played by her family — particularly her mother, who has remained by her side throughout every stage of her development.
