Thai singer and guitarist Nene Royal joined Avenged Sevenfold for two songs at Singapore Indoor Stadium on October 13, 2026, returning to the stage after opening the US heavy metal band’s concert with a solo set. The 16-year-old musician from Phuket, whose real name is Rattikarn “Praew” Amloy, performed “Bat Country” and “Unholy Confessions” alongside the band, singing and playing electric guitar.
The concert formed part of Avenged Sevenfold’s Asia Tour 2026 and marked the band’s first performance in Singapore in 11 years.
Avenged Sevenfold invited Nene back during the main set, giving the recent America’s Got Talent winner an opportunity to perform with a band she admires.
Nene combined vocals with electric guitar solos during the two-song appearance. Fans recorded the performance on their phones, raising their hands and moving to the music.
Nene’s Facebook page later shared a clip lasting approximately 13 minutes, accompanied by the message: “Thank you very much A7X I love you”.
Nene had performed earlier in the evening as the opening act, a booking announced by concert organisers Midas Promotions and Shaw Live Entertainment on September 25.
Nene’s father, Narong Amloy, said before the concert that she had been allocated a 30-minute slot and had chosen to perform alone without a backing band. Nene reworked the music and prepared the performance herself, according to her father.
Several internationally known bands had agreed to let Nene use their songs without charging licensing fees after seeing her performances on America’s Got Talent.
Nene opened with Muse’s “Hysteria”, followed by Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun”, Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name” and System of a Down’s “I-E-A-I-A-I-O”.
Nene closed with The Cranberries’ “Zombie”, the song that helped introduce her to an international audience during the television competition.
Nene continued performing despite earpiece problems throughout her opening set.
The report highlighted Nene’s closing guitar solo during “Zombie”, describing fans jumping along as she brought the set to an end.
Nene became the first Thai contestant to win America’s Got Talent when she took the Season 21 title in September.
Nene’s final competitive performance featured The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army”, combining rock vocals with electric guitar.
The Singapore concert placed Nene on an international stage as both an opening act and a guest performer with Avenged Sevenfold less than a month after her television victory.
