No reward for others who provided clues
As Alice famously said in that classic of children's literature "Alice in Thailand": "Curiouser and curiouser!"
So the police have claimed the reward money for catching someone allegedly involved in the Erawan Shrine attack, even though no one had yet been convicted and other suspects are at large. Could they have done so without the help of other tipsters, such as cabbies, motorcycle-taxi drivers and other eyewitnesses offering valuable input? Methinks not. I do hope the money will go toward some sort of police fund for improving the force.
I’m not sure if the announcement of the reward’s recipients demonstrates transparency – or brazenness. “Look at all the cash stacked up on this table! Don’t like it? Who ya gonna call?”
