Don’t fear the fitness: You too can be Kalamare

Don’t fear the fitness: You too can be Kalamare
TV PERSONALITY Patcharasri “Kalamare” Benjamas doesn’t mean to nag, honestly, but with her toned, tanned physique she can’t be blamed for wanting others to put some effort into getting as healthy as she is.
Beautiful, fit and always fashionable, Kalamare is among of the throng of celebrities known for clean and healthful lifestyles. They’ve got reason to celebrate and reason to share. Just recently Kalamare posted before-and-after self-portraits on Instagram (hashtag “#Ilovemyself”) to try and inspire others. You don’t need to spend money to be fit and feel good, was the message – you just need the will and self-discipline.
“Twenty years seem like yesterday,” she captioned the photos. “Just two years ago I turned my life around and began to really look after myself. What I’ve been doing is simple: eat healthy foods, exercise, have enough rest, find balance in life, and no plastic surgery! The photo on the left was 20 years ago and the woman on the right will turn 40 in October.”
Kalamare tells Post Today she used to be a workaholic and paid no attention to her health. She started exercising only when a doctor ordered her to mend her lackadaisical ways, and then realised that exercise alone wasn’t enough. If she really wanted to be healthy, she’d also have to eat right.
“I was consuming a lot of sugar and other unhealthy foods because I was ‘rewarding’ myself after every long work day. I figured I was exercising, so I could eat whatever I wanted. But that was completely wrong.
“So I switched to a clean diet and cooked more at home. It took some adjusting – you need to find your own balance without forcing yourself too much or spending ridiculous amounts of money. Good, healthy things aren’t always expensive.
“Once you go down that path and start to see the results, you never want to live an unhealthy life again!”
So let’s see more people using that “#Ilovemyself” hashtag. Kudos to you, Kalamare!

Ying Yae resettling down?

Less than a month after ending a three-month marriage, Internet idol and beauty-blogger Nontaporn “Ying Yae” Teerawattanasuk has moved on with her life and seems to be enjoying her single status again. The 29-year-old recently posted a shot on Instagram of the registration for her new house. “I’m going to make it look great!” she enthused.
Ying Yae’s marriage to surgeon Nopparat “Song” Rattanawaraha might have been brief, but they’d been a couple for nine years before that, so people have been holding out hope that they’ll find a way to reconcile.
The possibility seemed more likely after Ying Yae posted a sad and heartfelt monologue online, saying she still loves and cares for Song. But, she added, she wanted to be herself and couldn’t do that within the confines of matrimony.
Of course, now that she owns a house, maybe she’ll spend less time on the party circuit, which was apparently one thing that bummed out Song.
