New York and LA show electoral system a must

There was a time, some six or seven decades ago, when the Electoral College was questionable, but times have changed. The migration to New York and California over that time has been astronomical. Illegal aliens, criminals looking for a fruitful local to work in, fruitcakes wanting to be on Broadway or in Hollywood, and just about every liberal in America. 
Check out the crime statistics for both states and you have an idea of what has happened. Also, note Hillary’s performance in both states, which Eric conveniently omitted from his letter and which was the reason why she won the popular vote. 
Sorry Eric, but whoever designed the Electoral College must have foreseen the future, because it sure works now. No one but the denizens of New York and California want those two states deciding who will be President of the US.
