Spies hit Studio Lam
Party with Double Agent 7 tonight at Studio Lam on Sukhumvit Soi 51. Their mission is to play killer floor-fillers from the ’50s and ’60s, all exclusively on vinyl 45s that cruise through rock and roll, R&B, do-wop, rockabilly and soul. The bar opens at 6 and the party starts at 9. Entry is Bt200.

It’s beer, that’s Why
Cho Why near China Town is hosting its first craft-beer tastings tomorrow and Sunday. The hip crowd will be out to sample some of the most unique brews from Thailand’s underground DIY beer scene. Ce La Vie near the Chong Nonsi BTS station is booming with ’90s-to-early-’00s chart-toppers tomorrow as Trasher occupies the venue for its latest party. Prepare to be Zapped
Berlin-based band Zap is performing at 23 Bar & Gallery on Soi Nana near Chinatown on Sunday. Zap is comprised of two Australians and a Greek mingling their ideologies. Together they cause happiness earthquakes with rambunctious shows full of “bogan” swing, extreme physical theatre and, yes, even tenacious tap dancing.
