High speed in a small package

High speed in a small package

You can upgrade your old computer's connection speed in seconds with this tiny adapter

A USB adapter that instantly upgrades your Windows-based laptop or PC to the latest Wi-Fi standard, the Linksys Max-Stream AC600 (WUSB6100M) might be small but it can add 433 Mbps connection speed to your computer.
It features AC Wave 2 – MU-MIMO technology so it works well with a MU-MIMO wireless router like Linksys EA9500. It has two bands – 5 GHz with AC wireless protocol at a speed of 433 Mbps and 2.4 GHz with N wireless protocol with a speed of 150 Mbps.
The MU-MIMO technology allows it to connect seamlessly to any MU-MIMO router, such as the Linksys EA9500, but it will work simultaneously with other wireless devices without any performance issues. That said, it uses Beamforming technology so it will have a liable connection with a router with Beamforming technology, such as the EA9500.
The WUSB6100M is easy to set up. I simply plugged it to my notebook computer and installed driver software and it connected to the EA9500.
Part of Linksys’s Max-Stream series, its optimal performance is with the EA-9500, the top of the series.
I tried using it from the second floor and linked to the EA9500 through the RE7000 extender and found that the connection was fast and smooth. It downloaded files from other computers connected to the router at a fast speed. The Linksys Max-Stream AC600 USB MU-MIMO Adapter has a suggested retail price of Bt2,490.
