Bangkok braces for June 24 return of SHINee
South Korean boy band SHINee will be back in Thailand on June 24 for a concert at the Thunder Dome in Muang Thong Thani.
Bangkok is the last stop on their “World V Tour” after a June 11 show in Taipei and a nice long break.
Onew, Jong-Hyun, Key, Minho and Taemin will be treating the audience to mega-hits such as “Replay”, “Ring Ding Dong”, “Lucifer”, “Dream Girl” and “Everybody”. They’ll also be performing songs from their latest album “1 of 1” for the first time in Thailand.
SHINee’s fifth tour kicked off in Seoul in September, when ticket sales were so heated that three shows were immediately sold out, putting attendance above 30,000.
The boy band then made their North American debut with shows in Toronto, Vancouver, Dallas and Los Angeles.
In Japan they did 25 gigs in 10 cities, for a total audience of 250,000, and set a record of one million spectators at all of their concerts there since 2012.
Seats for the Thunder Dome show cost Bt2,000 to Bt4,500 and go on sale at 11am on June 3 at www.AllTicketThailand.com and all branches of 7-Eleven.
