Some things you just can’t forget
Singer and songwriter Phumipat Tamkoksoong, aka Phum Kick Kick, follows up on the success of his debut release “Tham Dai Khae Sao” with a second single, “Ruang Jing Tham Mai Dai”, which he describes as a sad romantic song.
“Every time I write slow songs including ones for other bands like Khon Kaen Band’s ‘Luem’ and the Hook’s ‘Ya Klua Karn Klub Ma’, I conjure up the memory of my first girlfriend during my school days. My memories of her have never faded,” says Phum.
“Ruang Jing Tham Mai Dai”, he adds, is about someone who tries to forget but just feels more pain.
“Musically, this is a pop song with a retro feel. I use piano and guitar to represent loneliness and sadness,” he says.
