Living in the lap of luxury

Living in the lap of luxury

With great shopping, a fantastic spa, succulent seafood and free admission to a world-class water park, the InterContinental Hua Hin resort is ideal for the whole family

WITH A PRIME location right in the centre of Thailand’s A-list resort, the InterContinental Hua Hin is perfect for a memorable holiday.
Renowned for its elegant period architecture, enticing seafood restaurants, lively flea markets, golf courses and hillside vineyards, this beach town, which is less than three hours by car from Bangkok, is a favourite retreat for both locals and international travellers and the host of regular professional tennis and golf tournaments. Players understandably choose to make the InterContinental their home while they’re in town.

Living in the lap of luxury

From the elegant lobby to the restaurants, the pool bar to the beach and the garden, the resort is synonymous with stylish. Combining Eastern and Western design, the low-rise beachfront resort spans a prime stretch of white sandy beach alongside a sparkling blue sea, making it a truly alluring setting.
The resort comprises two main accommodation wings, each with luxurious rooms and suites and all 158 rooms are furnished in contemporary Thai design with an emphasis on comfort. Additional facilities include a swimming pool, kids club, signature spa, well-equipped fitness centre, highly versatile event spaces and eight food and drink venues. Service is gracious and attentive but never overbearing.
The serene environment is also an ideal place for wellness therapy, whether you want to detox, relax, energise or simply recharge. The spa is staffed by well-trained therapists, all of them expert in Thai massage to relieve muscle tension. There is plenty of pampering for total relaxation, with a range of facial, massage and beauty treatments as well as morning yoga sessions on the beach and private tai chi classes.
There’s also plenty to choose from in terms of food with two restaurants offering different cuisine and three al fresco bars with live music in the evenings.

The Bluport Wing, which is accessible by a pedestrian bridge from the Beach Wing, has 40 modern comfort rooms and suites as well as its own swimming pool, all-day dining restaurants, bars, and lounges.
It’s also home to the elegant Tea Salon, a new exclusive spot for those who delight in exceptional world-class brews. Along with the luxury blends from TWG, it also offers an array of pastries and desserts created by professional pastry chefs.
Adding to the delights of the Bluport Wing is its proximity to the new BluPort Hua Hin Resort Mall, a 70,000-square-metre paradise that’s home to international retail shops, a department store, gourmet market, a cinema complex, and restaurants for the whole family to enjoy.

Living in the lap of luxury

And in a move that’s guaranteed to delight the younger set, guests at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort are entitled to free tickets to Vana Nava, Asia’s first water jungle. The water park is packed with exciting rides and slides, including the Abyss – the largest water slide in Thailand, which zooms up to a height of 28 metres before plummeting into a huge tunnel. For the very young, there’s the Kiddy Cove with 11 interactive fountains and play structures, and seven slides for young children. The Coconut beach wave pool features a long sandy beach area with islands and lush tropical landscaping for all to enjoy.
