Dream Theater’s smash hit album “Images & Words” turns 25 this year and the band is returning to Thailand as part of its celebratory world tour performing at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, on September 27 at 8pm.
The concert will feature a live set of “Images & Words” in its entirety, taking fans back in time with timeless numbers like “Pull Me Under”, “Another Day”, “Metropolis Part 1” and “Under A Glass Moon”, along with a range of favourites from the band’s widely-acclaimed catalogue.
The progressive metal band, featuring John Petrucci on guitar, John Myung on bass, James LaBrie on vocals, Jordan Rudess on keyboards and continuum and Mike Mangini on drums, has sold more than 10 million records worldwide, in addition to earning five RIAA gold and platinum certifications, as well as multiple awards and nominations.
In 2017, “Images & Words” was ranked 95th on Rolling Stone's “100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time”. With their latest opus, “The Astonishing”, Dream Theater maintains their identity of heavy emotional rock, with deep, meaningful lyrics that strive to lead their fans beyond imagination.
