A cock-eyed view of democracy
For the one-millionth time JC Wilcox reminds us that there is more to democracy than elections. True. But no democracy can exist without elections.
For years Wilcox has been a mouthpiece for the junta which hasn't had any elections. And they will still get to appoint 250 senators after democracy is “restored”.
In the past Wilcox had also demanded that BBC not be allowed to broadcast in Thailand because they would not report the news the way the great JC Wilcox wanted them to!
He defends the disgusting electoral college in America because he believes the votes of people who agree with him should count more than the votes of the less informed people (such as Harvard professors!) who don’t agree with him.
Essentially Wilcox supports democracy for people who think the way he does. The same was true of Adolf Hitler!
