Thai Smile makes life more convenient for passengers by increasing services on its three domestic routes to Krabi, Udon Thani and Ubon Ratchathani.

Until the end of the month, the airline is offering four daily flights from Bangkok to Krabi, five flights to Udon Thani every Thursday until September 28 and four flights to Ubon Ratchathani every Friday until September 29.

Turkish delights
Turkish Airlines just launched a new route between Istanbul and Phuket. The round trip fare start from US$569 (Bt18,980) and passengers have a choice between four weekly flights on Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Charters for the hajj
Thai Airways International has arranged 31 charter flights for Thai Muslims to attend the hajj in Saudi Arabia. The flights depart for Medina from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and the airports in Narathiwat, Hat Yai and Krabi, carrying about 9,000 pilgrims in total. 
The airline’s “Hal-Q” certified halal kitchen prepares the in-flight meals in strict adherence with Islamic dietary requirements. THAI is this year operating all nine flights on its being 289-seat Airbus A330-300s. Departures continue through August 23 and return flights are scheduled from September 6 through October 2.
