HOLLYWOOD celebrities Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner, Harrison Ford, Kate Bosworth and Jean Reno wouldn’t be seen dead without them and now Thai fashionistas can go all out for the luxury shoes, bag and accessories for which Tod’s is justifiably famous.
The high-end retailer recently launched its latest collection of Italian-made leather accessories for autumn and winter 2017 at its elegant boutique at Siam Paragon. And while the luxury brand’s ready-to-wear range is not yet here, there’s plenty to keep Thai shoppers happy. 
The “Open Air” collection for women boasts an outdoor spirit, even when inside, with the softest leather enveloping the feet for ultimate comfort. A new rubber base is applied in the instep with the creeper sole gracing the moccasins and the high- heel lace up ankle boots. Tod’s signature Double T Moccasins come in matelasse leather with a lozenge pattern and in the refined colour palette of the season. The double T fastening also features on the spat of the riding boots. 

Tod’s Sella bag brings an aristocratic outdoor taste into the realm of city luxury through genuine saddlecraft. Classic shoulder bag, the Double T Bandoliera is revisited with a new elaborate graphic and the colours of riding saddles. 
The men’s collection has been developed through manually applied coatings, treated skins, waxing and brushing and the painstaking experimentation with which Tod’s continues its research on prestige skins with commitment to Made in Italy traditional techniques. 
Sheepskin treated like a fabric is sewn with cotton thread. Stitching and saddle details are revisited with pinking and leather finishes that rework tradition with new urban elegance. The stout rubber sole on moccasins, half-boots and ankle boots borrow napas, crusts and brushed skins from the winter Gommino. 
Customers can also enjoy the craft treatment and polishing service through which Tod’s turns every shoe into a personalised model,
And in a first for Bangkok, the Siam Paragon store now offers he “My Gommino” customisation project. 

This unique service enables customers to create their very own Gommino, inviting them to select from a range of leathers, colours and accessories, resulting in their very own personalised pair of Gommino. 
The selection can be fashioned from different styles of Gommino, for both women and men, with an easy three-step guide covering choice of the model, leather, colour, stitching, pebbles, lining, accessory and confirmation of hot stamping of initials before completing the order. 
The My Gommino service is available in all Tod’s boutiques worldwide through a custom-made App where customers can play with their chosen model and visualise numerous renderings of their unique style before selecting their favourite one. All accessories as well as leather samples are available in the boutiques to visualise all elements that will enable the creation of one’s very own distinctive pair.
The Gommino is Tod’s most iconic model created with the intention of representing true Italian style in a shoe made to be worn on all occasions. The key aspect of this style is the unique design manufacturing process. Leathers are sourced from the finest tanneries in the world with extreme attention paid to the cutting of the leather and sewing of each piece, all of which is done by hand.
