Kizobasa, an Afro-Latin Festival for those who love to kizomba, bachata and salsa, is back for its second year at Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit from today until October 2.

The festival gets it name from the combination of four dance genres –“ki – kizomba, zo – zouk, ba – bachata, and sa – salsa.” This five-day event will feature a pool party, 45 hours of workshops, 2 dance platforms and 3 full nights of shows.

These will star four world champions: Liz Lira, aka The Rose of Salsa, Australian Artia Zandian, who placed first in the Professional Solo and Couple categories at the World Salsa Championship Brisbane, Arieh Alexander, World Latin Dance Cup Runner-up, and JT & Ania – professional dancers, teachers and choreographers who hold 5 podiums from World Championships. 

Other festival artist and performers include Victor Castro from Cuba, Nelson Campos from Portugal and UK, Mestre Petchu from Portugal, Zilda Vicente from France, Mika & Marine from Cabo Verde and France, Theodore Awadzi from Norway, Agnes Tan from Malaysia, Djulietta Amado Afrozomba Team from Taiwan, Do Sao Mai from Vietnam, Red & Ena from Korea and China, Marta Bartosz from Poland and Vietnam, Michael Nice from USA, Ivy Huxi from China, and Erick & Hiromi from Japan.
