Smartphones as a gateway to ‘developed nation’ status

Despite the abundance of free learning resources, the gateway to the English-speaking world – which leads to much-needed 21st-century educational elements such as curiosity, creativity and ingenuity – still seems closed for many Thais.
The English language enables nothing less than the exploration and understanding of the outside world, cultures and people.
The good news is that you don’t need to wait for improvements in language-teaching in schools and universities, as you already have a teacher at our fingertips. Your smartphone can be used to download very useful English apps to practise listening, speaking and pronunciation with your friends, fellow students or co-workers. In this way, you can practise English as if you were doing karaoke.
