Chevy rides to remote schools’ aid

Two Chevrolet dealerships backed by Chevrolet Sales Thailand recently held an educational event to support students in Satun and Nakhon Ratchasima.

Rattanahirun Autosales (Chevrolet Chokchai) donated school supplies, sporting equipment and other essential items to students at Baan Klong Boong and Baan Mai Somboon schools, both in remote areas of Nakhon Ratchasima.
The teachers and students warmly welcomed the dealership staff and customer volunteers.
Meanwhile staff from TP Autosales (Chevrolet Satun) and other volunteers rode in a caravan of Colorado trucks and Trailblazer SUVs to Baan Rao Pla School in Satun.
They took much-needed supplies, food and equipment, helping the school and at the same time demonstrating that the American SUVs and trucks can handle all kinds of tough transportation tasks.
The volunteers planted 1,000 trees in a wetland in Muang Satun, helping restore a forest.
With its “Driving a Better Tomorrow” campaign, Chevrolet seeks to help create smarter, healthier and safer communities across Thailand, particularly among children in remote areas.
Chevrolet and its partners also work closely on initiatives geared to Health and Human Services, Environment, Energy and Safety, and Community Development.
