Palestinians need an uprising - but not against Israel

The Palestinian people were deliberately and carefully incited by Gaza’s rulers Hamas and sent to the border. If Hamas spent the same energy on peace as it does on digging tunnels, firing unguided rockets and inciting Palestinians in Palestine and inside Israel to murder Israelis, we would be a long way down the road to peace. Israeli government spokesman David Keyes was right to tell CNN that this so-called protest was in fact no such thing. These were planned and calculated acts of violence.
The Palestinian people need to stand up against their radical leadership and commentators like Eric Bahrt should direct their misguided pleas in the same direction – at Hamas.
