American instrumental rock band Polyphia will play their first concert in Thailand at RCA Live House on November 25 as part on Asia tour.

The band, which features guitarists Timothy Henson and Scott LePage, bassist Clay Gober and drummer Clay Aeschliman, will present their melodic and progressive sound, technical lead guitar harmonies, and catchy riffs through tracks from their latest album, “New Levels New Devils”.
They’ll be joined on stage by American guitar virtuoso Marty Friedman and Thanwa “Toys” Boonsungern, front man of The Toys and the winner of the ninth Overdrive Guitar Contest.

Sweet teenage dreams

South Korea's indie-pop duo Bolbbalgan4, featuring Ahn Jiyoung and Woo Jiyoon, are coming to Thailand for their first fan meeting at DND Club on Ekkamai on November 10.
The Korean duo gained surprise success with the breakout hit “Galaxy”, which won Song of the Year at the 14th Korean Music Awards in 2016, and their three tracks from their mini album, “Red Diary Page 1”, namely “Some”, “To My Youth” and “Blue” topped the charts in 2017. The album includes “Imagine”, a mellow acoustic tune adorned with quirky percussion built around the snapping of fingers.

Sahai sabai

Songs-for-life get an airing in the concert “Sahai” being held at BG Hall in Rangsit Khlong 3 opposite of Dream World on November 10 from 3pm until midnight. 
Taking part are Carabao, Nga Caraven, Maleehuana, Pongthep Kradonchamnan, Zuzu, Mai Sib Lor, Zero Zero and Hugo.
Tickets cost Bt1,200 at 7-Eleven shops. Part of the proceeds will support the building of a holistic health centre at Wat Ninphet in Nakhon Pathom.

Bee, Two say “Wow”

Peerapat “Bee” Tenwong and Popetorn “Two” Soonthornyanakij join forces for the “GSB Wow Concert” at Stage 1 of Mono 29 Studio on Chaiyapruek Road in Pak Kret on November 11 at 2pm.

Gypsy in their soul

Gypsy Carnival returns to Bangkok on November 10 with the new name Gypsy Bangkok and a new venue Changchui in Thon Buri.
The music and lifestyle festival, which gets underway at 3pm on November 10, will feature two stages. Performing on the “Immortal Stage” are Noi Pru, ModernDog, Flure, Retrospect, Bomb at Track, Fukking Hero, Two Pee Southside and Urboy TJ while the “Valhalla Stage” is manned by DJ Faahsai, Make You Freak, DJ Roxy June, and DJ Henri.
