Shearing away the truth about farm animals

Shearing away the truth about farm animals

Eric Bahrt is using his usual tactics of misrepresentation and insults again in his letter of four days ago, “Shearing not quite like getting a haircut”.

Robin Grant had referred to sheep, not goats, and shearing sheep is indeed just like getting a haircut, using very similar clippers.
The horrible injuries described by Eric are a figment of his vegan-damaged imagination: your barber won’t inflict them on you and a shearer won’t inflict them on sheep.
Then Eric accuses Robin Grant of using the same tactics he uses himself, but with the alleged distortions of Robin Grant being in the opposite direction.

Why all the worship
for a child-killer?

Learning of the death of George HW Bush made me neither happy or sad. After all, people, including children, die every day. And some of those children die because of American policies!
Yet, Fox News has responded to Bush’s death by bombarding the airways hour after hour with boring, repetitious and inaccurate nonsense suggesting that Bush was the greatest president, if not the greatest man, who ever lived. And of course he had no faults.
No one who isn’t a certifiable idiot could believe that. Why didn’t Fox News just do a two-hour special telling us that George HW Bush was in fact the second coming of Christ and then, for God’s sakes. drop the ridiculous subject once and for all?
