Children, gender dysphoria, and what science has to say
Re: “Children can’t be ‘saved’ from what they already know”, Have Your Say, December 11.
Children are born with a sex, not a “sense of gender” as asserted by A Bangkok Atheist. That follows later, and can be perverted by society in general and LGBT indoctrinators in particular, hence the burgeoning psychological epidemic of “gender dysphoria” among Western children.
My views reflect those of paediatric opinion and recent psychological research, which I set out in my letter of November 16. Much as I enjoy Mr Atheist’s pithy statements on this page, I trust his cynicism of religious matters does not extend to the sciences.
