By The Nation
The first collection by Glass since the brand’s founder Kate Spade passed away in June 2018, it offers a look that is playful, quirky, colourful and intelligent with floral patterns inspired by youthful spirit. The medium-sized shoulder bag features an adjustable crossbody strap with jewellery-like metal detailing, a subtle plunge on each slip pocket, said to be a nod to the curves of the spade, and easy-open twistlocks or magnetic snaps. In the ready-to-wear line, vintage puff sleeves add dramatic volume to dresses while the v-neck draws your eyes toward the twist-knotted centre.
A Captain Cook for today
A vintage look for modern time travellers, Rado’s new Caption Cook Automatic Limited Edition draws on the original watch produced between 1962 and 1968, which was known for its compact design and distinctive features. Limited to just 1,962 pieces, and balancing authentic vintage style with the modern preference for personalisation, the 2019 Captain Cook is delivered in a hard-wearing leather travel pouch with a selection of additional straps including a fine knit stainless steel Milanese bracelet and a durable green Nato strap. The 37mm stainless steel case is exactly the same size as the original. And some of the best-loved original Captain Cook features are back with modern material updates that include the high-tech ceramic insert for the bezel for added scratch resistance and the sapphire crystal that offers optimum dial protection.
Natural care for the hair
Natural hair care brand underlines its environmental credibilty with the charity project “Say No to Plastic Straws”, encouraging all of us to take care of ourselves, of the environment in which we live and work and of the things we love. And that, Davines, says includes ourselves. Its Naturaltech line is a complete programme that targets hair and scalp problems while bridging sustainable beauty practices with cutting edge technology. For daily anti-ageing treatment, the Renewing Shampoo contains a hair renewing complex with antioxidant-rich spinach extract and maqui berry to protect the youth of the hair and scalp.

Italian by design
Inspired by creative director Francesco Fucci’s upbringing in the south of Italy, fashion brand Theory brings the senses of the season to life –the sea, the sky, and the colours. For his new collection, the designer explores strong tailoring, structure, pinstripes, and suiting contrast sensuality, softness, and fluidity. Using a palette that evokes the Italian landscape including bleached whites, maize, deep yellow, terra cotta, tobacco, pale blues, and pistachio, the collection plays with proportion and mixes lingerie details with menswear references such as oversized jackets, and men’s inspired shoes.
