Even Einstein worshipped something beyond science
Over the past year this column has been bombarded with endless tirades by atheists implying that anyone who disagrees with them is a superstitious moron or a mass murderer. So I’d like to share with them the following quote:
“Try and penetrate with our limited means the secrets of nature, and you will find that behind all the discernible laws and connections there remains something subtle, intangible and inexplicable. Veneration for this force beyond anything we can comprehend is my religion. To that extent I am, in fact, religious.”
And who was the “moron” who said that? Albert Einstein! Though Einstein didn’t believe that God is a man sitting upon a throne, he strongly believed that science did not have the answers to everything.
