Until January 15, “River of Change” will be on show at Anantara Riverside’s Art Lounge, The Art Room at Avani+ Riverside, with its panoramic river views, and the Pop-Up Art Space at the connecting Riverside Plaza.
The exhibition features innovative art works by Thanachai Ujjin “Pod”, an art graduate from Chulalongkorn University who went on to become the lead singer of the band Modern Dog and whose abstract paintings take audiences on a journey of self-expression.
Multi-faceted artist Wisut Ponnimit will show why he is considered one of the key foreign artists in Japan’s manga scene, through a collection demonstrating his distinct storytelling techniques.
Meanwhile, award-winning photographer Siwanat Phongboonkoomlarp is exploring the pure lives of children in a collection that aims to capture “life’s snapshots”.
Illustrator and art teacher Mai Intarakanchit is urging audiences to observe how emotions can affect physicality through her distinct portraiture.
As the exhibition kicks off the festive season, it is also a nod to the hotels’ plans for the New Year, in which Avani+ and Anantara Riverside will be curating more art experiences for guests and visitors.
