Local ghost tales: going beyond folklore and fear

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2024

A new exhibition at the Thai Creative and Design Centre (TCDC) in Bangkok’s Bang Rak district allows visitors to take an immersive journey through local ghost stories across Thailand.

“The Untold Story: A Collection of Forgotten Local Ghost Tales” invites everyone to get to know 30 local ghosts that have shaped the beliefs, rituals and identities of Thai communities.

Visitors can admire over 90 contemporary ghost characters. These characters are the result of blending unique interpretations of local ghost tales with the distinctive designs of Thai artists.

The exhibition is being held at the first floor of TCDC from 10.30am to 7pm until November 22 (closed on Mondays). Admission is free, while parking is available at the National Telecom Bangrak building at 20 baht per hour
